This page explains what information we collect when you visit livingdesire.store or buy from us, what we do with it, and what control you have over it. We've tried to keep it readable. If something's unclear, email us at support@livingdesire.store and we'll explain.

What we collect

When you visit the site

Your browser automatically sends us some basic info — things like your IP address, what kind of device you're on, which pages you looked at, where you came from, and how long you stuck around. We use this to keep the site working, fix bugs, and understand what's helpful versus what isn't.

When you buy something

To process your order we need:

Your name
Your shipping address
Your billing address
Your email and phone number
Payment information (handled by our payment processor — we don't store full card numbers on our servers)
Your date of birth or age confirmation (because our products are 21+)

When you sign up for emails

Just your email address and, if you give it, your name. You can unsubscribe at the bottom of any email we send you.

When you contact us

Whatever you tell us in your message — your name, email, order details, the issue you're writing about. We keep that record so we can follow up and learn from it.

What we do with it

Process and ship your orders — including handing your address off to our shipping carrier.
Verify your age, because we have to.
Send order updates like confirmation emails, shipping notifications, and delivery receipts.
Reply to your questions and provide support.
Send marketing emails — only if you've opted in, and only until you unsubscribe.
Improve the site by looking at what's working and what isn't.
Prevent fraud and unauthorized access.
Meet legal obligations, including tax records and age-verification requirements for hemp-derived products.

Who we share it with

We don't sell your personal information. Full stop.

We do share it with a small number of third parties who help us run the business:

Shopify — the platform our store runs on
Payment processors (Shopify Payments, PayPal, etc.) to handle your payment securely
Shipping carriers like USPS, UPS, and FedEx, so they can deliver your order
Email service providers for transactional and marketing emails
Analytics providers (Google Analytics and similar) to understand site usage
Age verification services to confirm you're 21+
Tax authorities and law enforcement if we're legally required to

Each of these only gets the information they actually need to do their job.

Cookies

Like nearly every site on the internet, we use cookies — small text files your browser saves. We use them for:

To exercise any of these, email support@livingdesire.store with the request. We'll respond within 30 days.

California residents (CCPA / CPRA)

If you live in California, you have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act and the California Privacy Rights Act, including the right to know what we've collected in the past 12 months, the right to have it deleted, and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising those rights. We don't sell or share your personal information in the way the CCPA defines those terms.

Children

Our site and products are strictly for adults 21 and older. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 21. If you think a minor has given us their info, email us and we'll delete it.

How long we keep it

We keep your order records as long as we're required to for tax and accounting reasons — typically 7 years. Marketing preferences are kept until you unsubscribe. Support emails are kept for as long as makes sense for following up. If you ask us to delete your account, we'll delete everything we're not legally required to keep.

Security

We take reasonable steps to keep your info safe — encryption in transit, secure payment processing, limited internal access. No system is 100% bulletproof, but we treat your data like we'd want ours treated.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top will reflect the most recent version. If we make a major change to how we handle your data, we'll let you know — by email if we have it, or by a notice on the site.
