About the product
What exactly is a DesireNest drink?
It's a sparkling beverage infused with hemp-derived THC. Think of it as an alcohol alternative — something you can sip socially without the next-morning regret, the calories, or the hangover. Each can is dosed and labeled so you know exactly what you're getting.
Is it legal?
Yes, in most US states. Our drinks are made with hemp-derived cannabinoids that comply with the federal 2018 Farm Bill (less than 0.3% delta-9 THC by dry weight). Some states have additional restrictions on hemp products — see our Shipping Policy for the current list of states we can't ship to.
Will it get me high?
It will give you a noticeable, light buzz — the kind of relaxed, social, slightly euphoric feeling people associate with a couple of drinks. It's not designed to knock you out. Effects vary person to person, and especially first-timers should treat the first can as a tasting.
How long until I feel it?
Usually 30 to 90 minutes. Because it's a beverage, it metabolizes through your digestive system, which is slower than smoking but faster than a typical edible. If you haven't eaten in a while, it'll likely kick in sooner.
How long do the effects last?
Typically 2 to 4 hours for the main effects, with a gentle taper after that. You should feel back to baseline within 6 hours for most people.
How much should I drink?
If you've never had a THC beverage before, start with half a can and wait at least 90 minutes before deciding if you want more. Tolerance to alcohol or to smoking flower does not predict your tolerance to a THC drink. Go slow.
How does it compare to alcohol?
You'll feel relaxed and a little buzzy, like a glass of wine — but without the dehydration, the sloppy edge, the calories, or the hangover. Most people report a clearer head the next morning. Some people prefer the alcohol feeling, some prefer this one. Try it and see.
Can I mix it with alcohol?
We strongly recommend you don't, especially the first few times. Combining the two intensifies both and can make you nauseous, dizzy, or anxious. If you know how each affects you individually and want to experiment, do it cautiously and with food.
Buying and shipping
Where do you ship?
We ship throughout the continental United States, with a few exceptions. We can't currently ship to Alaska, Hawaii, US territories, APO/FPO addresses, or PO boxes. There are also several states where hemp-derived THC products are restricted — our Shipping Policy has the full list.
Do I need to be 21?
Yes. You'll confirm your age at checkout, and the carrier will require an adult signature (21+) on delivery — they'll ask for a government-issued photo ID.
How fast will it ship?
Orders are usually packed within 1 to 2 business days, and standard ground shipping is 3 to 7 business days after that. Most customers see their order within a week of ordering.
Is the packaging discreet?
Yes. The shipping box is plain — no brand markings, no "this contains THC" stickers. The carrier label will say it requires an adult signature, but it won't disclose what's inside.
Can I cancel or change my order?
Within 2 hours of placing the order, yes — email us at support@livingdesire.store. After that, we've usually printed the label and it's hard to pull back. If we can catch it, we will.
Returns and refunds
Can I return it?
Unopened cans, within 30 days of delivery — yes. Opened cans we can't take back for food safety reasons, but if there's a quality issue with how it tastes or feels, write us and we'll work something out. Full details in our Refund Policy.
What if it arrives damaged?
Send us a photo within 7 days and we'll ship a replacement. No need to return the damaged one.
Health and safety
Will it show up on a drug test?
Yes. If you're subject to any kind of drug testing — work, sports, legal, custody — please don't consume our products. THC stays in your system for days to weeks depending on body chemistry and how much you've had.
Is it safe if I'm pregnant or nursing?
No. Do not consume any THC product if you're pregnant, trying to conceive, or breastfeeding. Talk to your doctor.
Can I drive after drinking one?
No. THC impairs reaction time, judgment, and motor control. Don't drive, ride a bike, or operate anything mechanical for at least 4 to 6 hours after consuming, and longer if you've had more than half a can. When in doubt, don't.
I'm on medication — is this safe for me?
Talk to your doctor first. THC can interact with certain medications — particularly those processed by the liver and those that affect mood, sleep, or blood pressure. We're not in a position to give medical advice.
I drank one and feel anxious / overwhelmed. What do I do?
This passes. Find a calm space. Drink some water. Eat something — fatty snacks help. Try breathing slowly through your nose for a few minutes. Remind yourself nobody has died from THC alone, and that you're going to be fine. If symptoms are severe or you're really frightened, call a friend or a non-emergency medical line. If you're having chest pain or any serious symptom, call 911 — and be honest about what you took. Doctors are not there to judge.

Storage and freshness
Do I need to refrigerate them?
Not until you open them. Unopened cans are stable at room temperature in a cool, dry place. If you open one and don't finish it, refrigerate and drink it within 24 hours.
How long are they good for?
Each can has a best-by date printed on the bottom. We recommend drinking within that window for best flavor and consistent dosing.
